Fajar works as an Assistant Curator at the National Museum of Indonesia. He holds a degree in Anthropology from Padjadjaran University in Bandung, and seeks to apply socio-cultural approaches to his curatorial work, especially in translating the meanings contained in a collection to the public. Over the last two years, Fajar has been involved in developing several exhibitions and in conservation activities, such as the Elephant Bronze Statue Conservation project (2021), 'Return to Freedom Land' ('Kembali ke Tanah Merdeka') exhibition (2020), and the 'Indonesian Traditional Musical Instruments' exhibition (2020).
